Data are presented as the ratio of radio-labeled drug concentration in compartment 2 to expected drug concentration at equilibrium. Panels shows penetration of gemcitabine or 5-fluorouracil through MCC without pre-treatment (·), and following pre-treatment with EGTA (▲) or bortezomib (■). Data points represent the mean of 3 or more experiments ± SEM.
