Inhibition of cell proliferation by down-regulating MR-1. (A) RT-PCR showed that expression of the MR-1 gene decreased in SKOV3 cells transduced with MR-1 ShDNA-442, ShDNA-232, ShDNA-584 (left to right: ShDNA-mock, ShDNA-442, -232, and -584). (B) Expression of the MR-1 gene was markedly reduced in SKOV3 cells transfected with ShDNA-442, -232, and -584, (particularly with ShDNA-442) as analyzed by two-way ANOVA.
