  1. Positive means that the expression level of beclin 1 mRNA/protein in breast tumors increased compared with the corresponding adjacent normal tissues. And negative means that the expression level of beclin 1 mRNA/protein in breast tumors decreased compared with the corresponding adjacent normal tissues. The association between beclin 1 mRNA and protein expression was analyzed using the χ2 test.
