From: Angiotensin II type 2 receptor signaling significantly attenuates growth of murine pancreatic carcinoma grafts in syngeneic mice

The effect of AT 2 receptor deficiency on the growth of murine pancreatic ductal carcinoma (PAN02) xenografts was evaluated in syngeneic mouse model. PAN02 cells (5 × 106 cells suspension in 200 μl PBS) were inoculated into both flanks in either AT2-KO (n = 6) or wild type mice (n = 6). Tumor volume was calculated after measuring tumor diameter every three to four days using a caliper (A). Tumors were carefully removed at the end of the study and the tumor weight was determined (B). Data are presented as means ± SEM of twelve tumors from six mice. * P ≤ 0.05 as compared to the level of wild type mouse group.
