Effects of Taurolidine (TRD) on proliferation in different malignant cell lines measured by BrdU-assay. HT29 (a), Chang Liver (b), HT1080 (c), AsPC-1 (d) and BxPC-3 cells (e) were incubated with TRD (100 μM, 250 μM and 1000 μM) and with Povidon 5% (control) for 8 h and submitted to a BrdU-assay. Values are means ± SEM of 8 replicates of three independent experiments with consecutive passages. Asterisk symbols on columns indicate differences between control, which was set to 100% and TRD treatment.
