LV-Kallistatin retarded tumor growth and enhanced the mice survival. Groups of mice were inoculated with LL2 cells (5 × 105) via tail vein at day 0. LV-Kallistatin or LV-GFP (108 TU), or saline were injected to mice via tail vein at day 1. Mice were sacrificed at day 25, and their lungs were photographed (A) and weighed (B) (mean ± SD, n = 8~9). Note that the numbers and sizes of tumor nodules indicated by arrows were reduced in mice treated with LV-Kallistatin compared with those treated with LV-GFP or saline group.
