Effect of hypoxia and different glucose concentrations on cell proliferation. Changes in cell proliferation after 6, 24, and 48 h of normoxia (A) or hypoxia (B) in response to 1 nM (diamond), 5 mM (square), or 25 mM (triangle) glucose by trypan blue counting of cells. MCF-7 cells were plated (7.5X104/well) and cell counts and viability were measured. Data is mean ±SEM of 3 separate experiments.
