  1. MCF-7 and MCF-7 CLU cells were grown in culture and treated with ethanol vehicle, TNFalpha (5 ng/ml) or tamoxifen (5 micromolar) for 48 h. Cells were harvested, ethanol fixed and stained with propidium iodide and analyzed by flow cytometry. Results are expressed as mean ± SD of three independent replicates.
